About Ximark

Building the eyes of the modern warehouse

Ximark has just emerged from stealth mode, backed by Y Combinator and DB Schenker. Founded by veterans of Amazon Robotics, we are building AI-powered perception systems that give warehouses real-time visibility of every pallet movement.

Backed By

World-class investors and partners

Y Combinator

The world's leading startup accelerator, backing companies like Airbnb, Stripe, and DoorDash.

DB

DB Schenker

One of the world's largest logistics providers, and a strategic investor and early deployment partner.

Our Mission

We believe every pallet movement should be automatically captured, verified, and made visible. Ximark exists to give logistics companies complete, real-time awareness of their warehouse operations — without manual processes, expensive infrastructure, or operational disruption.

Our Approach

We combine edge AI, computer vision, and colour marker localisation to create a perception layer that rides on existing forklift fleets. Our approach is infrastructure-light, non-disruptive, and delivers value from day one. We have deployed in warehouses across 4 countries.

Leadership

Founded by warehouse robotics experts

Our founders spent years building the perception and robotics systems inside Amazon's fulfilment centres. They left to solve the warehouse visibility problem from the outside.

Steve Paschall

Steve Paschall

Co-Founder & CEO

Former engineering leader at Amazon Robotics, where he helped build and scale the robotic fulfilment systems powering Amazon's global warehouse network. Steve spent over a decade at Amazon leading teams across perception, localisation, and autonomous navigation. He holds multiple patents in warehouse robotics and edge AI systems. At Ximark, he drives the product vision and go-to-market strategy.

Caitlin Moroney

Caitlin Moroney

Co-Founder & CTO

Former principal engineer at Amazon Robotics, specialising in computer vision and sensor fusion for warehouse automation. Caitlin led the development of perception systems that process millions of visual events per day across Amazon's fulfilment centres. She holds a PhD in Computer Vision and has published extensively on real-time object detection in industrial environments. At Ximark, she leads engineering and technology.
